Introducing the Perfect Pairing, our jute-covered electrical cables are designed to complement our linen shades. Together, they create an effortless harmony of texture and tone, bringing a sense of earthy elegance to any space.

Each cable is crafted with care and precision, featuring a soft linen finish and a powder-coated ceiling cap for a refined, durable detail that completes the look.

Compatible with all E27 bulbs (maximum 60W/220V). Bulb not included.

All Lumiere cables are individually tested and assembled by qualified electricians to meet our product standards. However, Lumiere Shades cannot take responsibility for any modifications made after purchase. For your safety, we recommend all fittings and adjustments be completed by a professional.

We prioritize the quality and security of our products, our electrical cable meet the necessary standards to ensure a reliable and secure electrical connection. Certified for safety, it's important to note that our cables are not UL listed. UL listing is a (US specific only) certification provided by Underwriters Laboratories for electrical products.

Our electrical cable kits are carefully designed to integrate perfectly with our shades, ensuring a seamless and safe lighting system.  For this reason, we are unable to accept returns on cable kits once they have left our studio.

We recommend a warm-toned bulb (2200–2700K), maximum 15W LED or 60W incandescent. US and Canada customers: our cords are wired for 220–240V. You will need a 120V E27 bulb.

We currently offer our plug-in cable kits with three plug options:

Simply select the plug type that matches the country where you'll be using your light.

Are your cable kits certified?
Our US plug-in cable kits are UL certified.

What type of bulb do your cable kits use?
All of our cable kits feature an E27 bulb holder, which is one of the most commonly used bulb fittings worldwide.

What is the maximum bulb wattage?
Our cable kits support bulbs up to 60W maximum.
For the best lighting effect, we recommend using an LED bulb, which provides excellent brightness while consuming much less power.

Are bulbs included?
No, bulbs are sold separately.

Can I use a dimmable bulb?
Yes, provided that:
-your bulb is dimmable, and
-your dimmer switch (if applicable) is compatible with LED dimmable bulbs.

Can I purchase the cable kit without a lampshade?
Absolutely.
Our cable kits are available separately and can be purchased without one of our shades.

Can I install the cable kit myself?
Our plug-in cable kits are designed for easy installation. Simply attach your shade, insert a compatible E27 bulb, plug it into a power outlet, and you're ready to go.
For hardwired installations, we always recommend using a qualified electrician.

Can I use your cable kits with another lampshade?
Yes, as long as the lampshade is compatible with an E27 fitting and the fitting dimensions are suitable.
