HOW TO INSTALL YOUR SHADE

We have created all our shades with a large 4cm ring at the top of the shade. This allows your shade to be used as a DIY pendant that works for both plug-in or hardwire installations. Our standard ring can be put over an existing bulb holder or used as a plug-in option, which means there is also no additional cost involved. Making sure all our customers enjoy our shades whether you own or rent your home

CABLE CLIP

Our new clip allows you to attach any shade onto your cord used on our wide range of light shades. By attaching the clip onto the cord itself, the lamp-holder and globe can be positioned within the center of the shade, perfect for our larger shades like the Empire and Luna shades.

Step-by-step instruction video to guide you in assembling the internal frame for these specific designs. Designed for ease and stability, this ensures your shade maintains its form.

SETTING THE MOOD

Our shades create a beautiful ambient light that is a soft, warm glow. And your light bulb selection plays and essential part of creating that mood. The ideal lighting is a romantic, soft glow, so the bulb you choose should complement your shade.

We recommend a warm colour temperature with low lumens for a lovely soft amber light. This lighting is perfect for bedrooms and lounging areas. In dining, and other areas that require more light we recommend a bright neutral bulb with a mid-range lumen.

QUICK LIGHTING REFERENCE

There are three basic bulb light levels:

  • Mood lighting (about 40 watts)
  • Task lighting (about 100 watts)
  • Average lighting (often 60-75 watts)
